Description
AG-160-95 Adaptive Electric Gripper – Precision and Reliability for Robotics
The AG-160-95 is part of the award-winning AG series of adaptive electric grippers, designed to meet the needs of collaborative robots and precision automation. Recognized with the 2019 and 2020 Red Dot Design Awards, it combines elegant engineering with industrial-grade performance, ensuring both reliability and efficiency in demanding environments.
Built with a joint-type adaptive mechanism, the AG-160-95 delivers stable gripping for objects of many shapes and sizes. Its clamping force ranges from 45 N to 160 N per side, while the travel span of 0–95 mm makes it versatile across multiple workpieces. Capable of handling up to 3 kg of load, it is ideal for industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, 3C electronics, automotive assembly, and home appliance production.
The gripper is engineered for high accuracy, offering a repeatability of ±0.03 mm. With an opening and closing time of just 0.7 s, it balances speed with precise control. At only 1 kg and with compact dimensions of 184.6 × 162.3 × 67 mm, it integrates easily into robotic systems.
For seamless communication, the AG-160-95 supports RS-485 (MODBUS RTU) and Digital I/O protocols, running on a 24V DC input at just 0.8A. Its IP54 protection level keeps it safe from dust and splashes, making it reliable even in challenging work environments.
Whether used in electronics, automotive assembly, or general industrial automation, the AG-160-95 offers the right mix of strength, precision, and adaptability to optimize modern production lines.
